Instrument Sets for Charity Orthopaedic Missions
Reusable orthopaedic instrument sets and power tools supplied at cost for volunteer surgical teams operating short-term missions in West Africa.

Volunteer surgical missions work in two-week windows: whatever instrumentation lands with the team is what the theatre runs on. We support charity orthopaedic missions with instrument sets configured to their case lists — and priced at cost.
Ahead of each mission we review the expected procedures with the lead surgeon and compose trays accordingly, from general bone sets through to power tools with enough sterilisable batteries to keep two tables running.
What was delivered
- General orthopaedic instrument trays configured per mission case list
- Bone drills and saw systems with autoclavable battery sets
- Backup consumables — drill bits, saw blades and K-wires
Sets return with the teams, are inspected and re-sterilised, and go back out with the next mission — the same trays have now served multiple field seasons.
