The screws work well but the material is less forgiving than PEEK if the driver is not fully seated, so we take care during handoff. Otherwise a tidy, single-use implant.

Each screw has a stepped tapered design which maximizes insertion torque, as the screw is fully seated. The thread form has been optimized to ease insertion and maximize soft tissue and bone fixation in cortical and cancellous bone.

The PLGA screw gives me confident aperture fixation for soft-tissue grafts and resorbs over time, avoiding a permanent implant in the tunnel. Radiolucency also keeps follow-up imaging clean.

Good for graft aperture fixation
Insertion torque is predictable and the threads advance without shredding the graft. Reassuring option when I want to avoid interference from metal on future MRI.
